Tournament championships, an undefeated season, gearing up for "Milk Life presents, Scouting Camp: The Next Olympic Hopeful" and an unusual U.S. athlete pairing we didn't know we needed. It was quite the week for Team USA and its athletes, so let's get started with 13 of our favorite highlights.
1.Simone Biles made history at gymnastics worlds as the most decorated gymnast of all time. Social media responded the way it does when Simone "Simones" – and blew up. Everyone from the rapper Common to Billie Jean King joined in to congratulate Biles on her outstanding performance.
2. Weightlifting's Mattie Rogers made history. She became the first American weightlifter to medal at worlds in consecutive years since 1994. She’s used to it, though; last year, she won three bronzes to become the first U.S. women’s weightlifting world medalist in 12 years.
3. "Golden" State Warriors
We didn't know we needed this friendship as bad as we did.

4. To all that believed in me from the beginning, from the bottom of my heart, thank you

5. The U.S. women’s soccer team won its 500th game en route to finishing the 2018 season undefeated. Not too bad, not too bad.
6. Carli Lloyd summed it up best.
This team is amazing. Past and present. Thanks to all that paved the way. Always an honor to put on the jersey! 🇺🇸 https://t.co/gphObBe1I2

7. "Milk Life presents, Scouting Camp: The Next Olympic Hopeful" gives athletes the opportunity to pursue their Olympic dreams, even when they thought it was no longer possible. Marissa Howell in the past two years has donated a kidney, given birth to a child, and then gave it her all at this year’s scouting camp.
8. Chills
Don’t miss the debut of Next Olympic Hopeful next week!
Eight sports. Eight spots. 90 dreams.

9. No coach, no problem. Married couple and figure skating pair Alexa Scimeca-Knierim and Chris Knierim won bronze at NHK Trophy after parting ways with their coach in October.
10. Welcome to the show! Ice dancers Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker finished atop the podium in their season debut at NHK Trophy.
11. The U.S. women’s ice hockey team continued its very impressive 2018 campaign with a fourth straight championship at the Four Nations Cup. Team USA defeated Canada in the final for the third straight time so far in 2018 – the second time with medals on the line (hint, the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.)
12. Tokyo 2020 Update
13. Last but certainly not least, we’d like to say thank you.
